What a great idea for games! Our storage ottoman came with two little tiny stool/seats inside that we hardly ever used. We pulled those out so that our little kiddo can use them and in went our games! Cleared up space in our closet and puts them away nicely. Decided to put them in vertically so we could see them all and be able to pull one out at a time. Perfect for parties and gatherings because the games are already in the living room! Here is a picture of the ottoman all put together. We purchased it from Target on a Black Friday deal.

Getting the Red Potatoes StartedThese are organic red potatoes that I bought from the local grocery store. We didn't end up eating them all so I let them start growing. The next step was to get them to sprout. I cut out the "eyes" that were growing the best and stuck 4 toothpicks in it. This way I could hang them from the top of a really full glass of water. Here it is now! Starting to sprout! Will be ready for planting outside soon since the weather has been getting nicer. FYI, a good friend of mind told me to plant these in a deep pot or in an area that you are ok with having red potatoes forever! Haha! I guess they grow pretty well and if you don't harvest them all, you will continue to get potatoes! Finally, I have a home for all of my wonderful Pampered Chef spatulas. Instead of fumbling through my kitchen drawers trying to find one, I can have them all in one place! Here I have used the Clever Container's Drawer Designer organizers. This is the Small size. These hook together so as I continue to organize my drawer I can maximize my space! Stay tuned for more drawer organization! Here is a great tip! Use a belt hanger (the one pictured is from Clever Container) to hang all your cami tops. They don't get wrinkled and you use less space to store more! Harris Interactive reports that 23% of adults say they pay bills late (and incur fees) because they lose them.
The National Soap and Detergent Association believes getting rid of clutter would eliminate 40 percent of the housework in the average home.
The entry way is the first thing someone sees when coming into your house. Why not make a good first impression? When people walk into a home with a welcoming entry way, it immediately makes them feel at ease and gives the appearance of a neat and tidy home. Consider a mirror in the space to make if feel brighter and bigger. The mirror we used was a great garage sale find and only cost us $5. The 5 cube bookcase on the left is from IKEA and the two lower bins is where we store our shoes. The bench is a multi-purpose piece of furniture we built ourselves. Inside is stores our cat litter box. The lid is removable for easy care and the inside is lined with turf to attempt to catch more of the litter to prevent tracking. It works great for keeping the smell of the litter contained and most people don't even realize what the bench is! It's a comfortable spot to sit and put on your shoes. Everyone is talking about it. SPRING CLEANING! Here in the Northwest, it's finally starting to feel like Spring and (if you are like me) we are getting the cleaning bug. Clever Container also has some great options for useful organizing solutions for your office and home. It's just about time to start switching from the Winter clothes and get into Spring and Summer!
